Dollar were a British pop group, formed in 1978 and led by vocal duo David Van Day and Thereza Bazar, both of whom were previously members of vocal group Guys 'n' Dolls (until mid-1977).

They had a string of hit singles between 1979 and 1982, some of which were produced and written by Trevor Horn (member of Buggles, Yes and Art Of Noise, and producer of ABC and Frankie Goes To Hollywood ).

The couple split both artistically and romantically in 1983.

Dollar re-formed in 1986 enjoying a final Top 10 hit in 1988 with 'Oh L'Amour', originally recorded by Erasure, before splitting up again shortly after. Occasional live reunions have taken place from 2002 onwards, including a Trevor Horn tribute show in 2004.
